Thank you for joining the sightseeing and rafting trip

After a wonderful time with my Viking friend, it was time to say goodbye. The next and final destination of my Norwegian adventure was Trondheim. My friend dropped me off at the bus stop. I highly recommendContinue reading “Views from the Afsluitdijk”

I love the composition, the lighting (I’m a nutContinue reading “Many happy returns”

Padrão dos Descobrimentos

Our first destination in Portugal was Belém, a relatively short distance from the city centre of Lisbon. We decided to take the electric tram 15E…and so did what seemed like millions of others. My goodness, it was probably the worst tram ride in my life. In retrospect, travelling by tuktuk would have been more comfortableContinue reading “Padrão dos Descobrimentos”
