A day in the capital

During our stay in Plimmerton, mom and I decided to spend a day exploring Wellington. First up, we went to the Te Papa Museum. Kind of a ‘no-brainer must-do’ when you’re in Wellington. Greeting

How glorious a greeting the sun gives the mountains – John Muir It was the end of a beautiful summer’s day in Queenstown. I was enjoying the view from the deck at our hostel Butterfli Lodge. The setting sun cast the most beautiful light over the Remarkables. What an absolute treat!
