If you love water, like I do, then Friesland surely is a great destination. There are heaps of lakes to enjoy, like my friends and I did two years ago on a beautiful October day.

We were lucky to have such a beautiful and clear day to see Mt. Ngauruhoe in Tongariro National Park in all its glory. Some people might recognise this volcano as Mt. Doom from the Lord of the Rings movies.
