Trekking through the lush green forests and getting higher and higher up the mountain. Every once in a while I had to stop and take a picture to capture how much I had hiked to get there. The Routeburn Track was amazing to do and seeing these pictures again fills me with that fuzzy warm feeling of pride and nostalgia.ContinueContinue reading “Climb every mountain”

Coca-cola landscape
Approaching Lake Louise, Alberta, the landscape turned into the most amazing snowy picture perfect scenery. It felt like we were driving into the set of a Coca-cola commercial or a Christmas postcard. Tall trees covered in the most amazing powdery snow. I had never seen anything like it. Beautiful!

Two Jack Lake
Early May in Alberta and Two Jack Lake is slowly being revealed thanks to the melting ice. The air was crisp and despite the cloudy skies, I highly enjoyed this beautiful view.
Peeking through
Arthur’s Pass is beautiful. Lush in greens, trees, shrubs…and amazing views! On my way to the Devil’s Punchbowl Falls I saw this view, perfectly framed with trees on all sides. I had to stop for a minute to enjoy it. Okay, maybe more than a minute! 🙂
On the road again
On the last day of my 2012 holiday in Canada, I did a tour through the beautiful and majestic Banff N.P. in Alberta. There were only three tourists on the tour, a Taiwanese couple (who had never seen snow before) and myself. The tour guide was a bit weird, but he did show us amazingContinueContinue reading “On the road again”

The Grampians is a mountain area/national park in Victoria, Australia. I visited the national park during a tour along the Great Ocean Road. We hiked for a few hours and about halfway we stopped for a lunch break where we had this amazing view! In the bottom right of the photo you can see some buildings,ContinueContinue reading “The Grampians”
