Lake Tarawera
Beautiful Lake Tarawera! I’ve been fascinated by the Mount Tarawera eruption and the destruction of the Pink and White Terraces since the first time I travelled through New Zealand in 2005. I’m so happy that I finally got to go and see it!

The gorgeous Matukituki River is a braided river in Mt. Aspiring N.P. on the South Island of New Zealand. Manaakitanga: hospitality, kindness, generosity, support – the process of showing respect, generosity and care for others. This is definitely true of Tamaki Maori Village. I highly recommend a visit when you’re in or near Rotorua!
