True blue

Earlier this year, I posted a picture of Mt. Cook (Aoraki) and the crazy blue Lake Pukaki on a day with a gorgeous clear blue sky. I also made a short video of the lake and the highest mountain in New Zealand that day. Mrs. Weka

One lovely evening in paradise, aka during my stay at Hopewell, I saw this cute little weka. Weka, also known as Maori hen or woodhen, is a flightless bird species of the rail family (rallidae). I guess it got curious there for a minute! 🙂 Mrs. Weka from TravelSan on Vimeo.
