As I walked to Stanley Park, I was drawn to this beautiful magnolia tree I saw along the way. I loved how the sunlight hit the petals, bringing out that vibrant pink. I love light, and the contrast and effect it creates. The flowers smelled lovely too, so that wasn’t much of a hardship either.

You’d better get out there and enjoy it while it lasts, because Vancouver is famous for its rainy days.” That’s what one of my roommates said to me at the hostel in downtown Vancouver.
