“It’s sunny today. You’d better get out there and enjoy it while it lasts, because Vancouver is famous for its rainy days.” That’s what one of my roommates said to me at the hostel in downtown Vancouver. She was staying long-term on her working-holiday visa and had already experienced the many sides that this friendly, big city with its changeable climate has to offer. I took her advice and walked from the hostel to Stanley Park. It was late April and I enjoyed the gorgeous, sunny spring weather. I stopped many times on my way to that big park, enjoying my surroundings and taking heaps of photos. How awesome must it be to live in one of those apartment buildings, to have a view that goes on for miles on end. How awesome must it be to live in a city that is so close to nature, to have it all close at hand. I fell in love with Vancouver pretty much instantly. One week was simply not enough to explore all that this place has to offer. I don’t know when, but I’d love to go back and explore some more.
Sunny Vancouver

Not very often that you hear the city referred to as “Sunny Vancouver!” Haha. Glad you enjoyed your time in our fair city though 🙂
