Verde

Portugal’s nature is much greener than I’d expected. Beautiful, lush greens and trees make for very pretty sights. The big boulders in between give me the feeling of a really old landscape and it simply drew my attention.

The beautiful pancake rocks in Punakaiki, on the west coast of New Zealand. Straight out of Narnia

Just a few daisies

As we were walking from the Torre de Belém to the Monasteiro dos Jerónimos, we walked across a grass field with heaps of these cute and brightly coloured Spanish daisies. So pretty!

Rolling in the deep

On that same first day in Lisbon, when we went to Belém, the weather was rather overcast. It cleared up beautifully later in the day, but at first it looked something like in this photo. Punga

There’s something about ferns that I really like. Always have, ever since I was a little kid. This is a picture of a few punga or fern trees. I love how they stand so tall and contrast beautifully with the clear blue sky.
