The Bay of Islands is a beautiful area in the North of New Zealand. During the tour, we stopped at Urepukapuka Island, a lovely and relaxed place. The view from the top of the hill was amazing! Bay of Islands from TravelSan on Vimeo.

Camp with a view
In 2008, I travelled to Sweden for the first time. It was an outdoorsy holiday with things like bushcrafts, canoeing and hiking. We stayed in the beautiful province of Dalarna in a tiny place called Venjan. My absolute highlight of the week was a two-day, 36 km hike along the Vasaloppsleden trail. Subtle
Walking along an unsealed road near beautiful Hopewell, my eye caught this beautiful flower. The sun hit the petals, casting subtle lights and shadows.
Afternoon sail

I’m not a good swimmer, but I still feel like some sort of ‘water rat’. The salty air, the wind in my face, the possibility to go everywhere is soContinueContinue reading “Afternoon sail”
A traveller’s indulgences
I’ll just throw it out here: I love food. 🙂 When I try things abroad, I tend to get some kind of memory attached to eating or drinking those things. Like L&P, lemon pepper or Tim Tams. Since I work hard for the money that I earn, I decided to treat myself a little here andContinueContinue reading “A traveller’s indulgences”
