I’ll just throw it out here: I love food. 🙂 When I try things abroad, I tend to get some kind of memory attached to eating or drinking those things. Like L&P, lemon pepper or Tim Tams. Since I work hard for the money that I earn, I decided to treat myself a little here and there during my latest trip to good ‘ol NZ. I went out to dinner a few times and pretty much tried something new every time. It’s like some sort of adventure and let’s face it, I do love me some adventure! 🙂 Or sometimes, I’d arrive really late at a new place and I didn’t have the energy to get groceries and cook something. Grabbing a bite, is easy as.
Here are some Instagram photos of yummy things I had. I tried out more things than shown in the pictures below, but I didn’t Instagram everything.
I love L&P!
My new favourite Tim Tam flavour: Salted caramel!
Flat white (for nostalgia, I don’t really like coffee)
Waffe with mixed red fruit and frozen yoghurt
Fush ‘n chups (Mangonui Fish Shop, Northland)
Fudge! Cookies and cream on the left and creme brulee on the right
Ferg burger. Yasss!
Boysenberry ice cream
Home made ice tea.
Eton mess with rhubarb, strawberries and fairy floss
All the ingredients for The Original Kiwi Dip and a bag of salt & vinegar chips
