While I love walking on the beach in my home country, it really is a different experience from walking on a beach in New Zealand. Both are beautiful, don’t get me wrong. But there’s something about New Zealand beaches that I really love. And this photo is just a regular beach in Northland. The coloursContinueContinue reading “Just a regular NZ beach”

Standing tall
Such an awesome piece of coast. The water was so rugged that my friend and I couldn’t take the ferry to Kapiti Island and explore this, from what I’ve heard, amazing bird sanctuay island. Due to rough weather, the ferry was cancelled. Instead, we had a wander along the coast, where I saw these amazing,ContinueContinue reading “Standing tall”
Vastness
It was the first time I was at the very northern tip of a country. I loved looking into the vastness of the waters at Cape Reinga. Such a beautiful place.
Te Rerenga Wairua
Cape Reinga is the place where the Tasman Sea and the Pacific Ocean meet. I was a recent graduate, and I just needed to get away from regular life and escape to a world of exploration. Snowy branches

Five years may not seem like so long ago, but a lot can change in that time. I love the look of the snowy branches. It’sContinueContinue reading “Snowy branches”
Springtime in winter
Recently, I went on a walk and saw various crocuses blooming. Normally they don’t start blooming until early Spring. The mild weather is obviously confusing nature! The flowers reminded me of a walk to a local park a few years ago, when the crocuses bloomed as well (in season). I’d forgotten all about those photos! I recentlyContinueContinue reading “Springtime in winter”
