Beautiful vista in the Coromandel! I love how you see layer after layer in this shot. And on the right there is a tiny patch of deforested land (for commerce perhaps?). Wouldn’t have wanted to miss it

I’d say it’s highly unlikely that I’ll attempt to hike the Fjällräven Classic again. I tried it twice and failed both times at the same spot: Sälka (see photo). This doesn’t mean I’m discouraged to go outdoors and hike! Cool tones

Enjoying an evening stroll on Hahei Beach. I love how no sunset is the same. This one has some cooler tones, giving it a crisp and bright feel. I love it!

Fade in, fade out

I love how the clouds seem to fade into this shot. Or are they fading out?

As Kiwi as

This is just so kiwi: small town by the water, beautiful views, someone on a boat, lush vegetation with ferns, pohutukawa and cabbage trees, and skies dotted about with clouds. What more could a person ask for?

Stick figure

There’s something about taking a photo of wide open space with a big object in the foreground. I love how it adds depth, some sort of frame and balance to this shot.

Geological marvels
