How do you start a blog post about one of your favourite places you’ve travelled to? Many times I started and deleted my first sentence, but I’m just going to start and see where it goes. Because Hopewell is a very special place, perhaps one of a kind. And if not one of a kind, thenContinueContinue reading “Hopewell”

Lac de Maclus
Today is a bit of a chilly and rainy Easter. The perfect opportunity to reminisce beautiful sunny days spent in a beautiful area with great company! When I visited my friend in France last summer, we went to the Lac de Maclus. What a stunning place to visit! Of course the company and sunny weatherContinueContinue reading “Lac de Maclus”
Pinky promise
Just a cute, pink flower showing off its many petals. The light comes from above so the bottom few rows of petals have a little shadow and look a darker pink on the photo. Probably my favourite detail in this shot.
Follow the grey gravel road

Chalice
In this photo I love how the sun strokes the chalices of these flowers. You can see the little hairs and many different hues of purple. So pretty!

A myriad of green
Sticking with hiking in the French Jura, we came across this abundance of lush, green vegetation. It reminded me of hiking in Canada or New Zealand. It looks similar, but feels different and most of all looks beautiful!
Introduction to the Jura
Last August I visited a friend in France. We don’t get to see eachother often, usually only during a charity event we both attend. I decided it was time to change that! Since she’d already visited me once a few years before, I decided it was my turn to visit her. So there I went,ContinueContinue reading “Introduction to the Jura”
