Don’t look back?

Not looking back surely holds truth for when you’re moving through life and you’re trying to not have regrets. When I’m hiking I actually prefer to look back, if only for the very simple reason that you might see a new angle of the landscape, feature or other sights. This is Petit Maclu from a differentContinueContinue reading “Don’t look back?”

Hopewell

How do you start a blog post about one of your favourite places you’ve travelled to? Many times I started and deleted my first sentence, but I’m just going to start and see where it goes. Because Hopewell is a very special place, perhaps one of a kind. And if not one of a kind, thenContinueContinue reading “Hopewell”

Lac de Maclus

Today is a bit of a chilly and rainy Easter. The perfect opportunity to reminisce beautiful sunny days spent in a beautiful area with great company! When I visited my friend in France last summer, we went to the Lac de Maclus. What a stunning place to visit! Of course the company and sunny weatherContinueContinue reading “Lac de Maclus”

Since she’d already visited me once a few years before, I decided it was my turn to visit her. So there I went,ContinueContinue reading “Introduction to the Jura”

Composition

The composition of this photo caught my eye. The greyish brown rocky layers in front, the greyish water behind that, a sliver of dark greyish blue to represent mountains that almost disappear in the thick cloud cover, and two black stripes for ships as almost specs on the horizon. Can you tell I love a layeredContinueContinue reading “Composition”

Boca do Inferno

Boca do Inferno is Portugese for Hell Mouth. Sounds like a nice place to visit, eh? 😉 It’s pretty much a deep chasm where the seawater crashes onto the rocky cliffs, creating striking water shows! I really enjoyed this place, even though it was just a short stop on our pretty packed day tour!
