Big rocks, small rocks, some as big as your head

This is what the trail during the Fjällräven Classic typically looked like. The trail is part of the Kungsleden, well established and regularly hiked, but also old and worn out thus exposing the rocks underneath. As pretty as it may look, it’s actually quite difficult to hike, because you constantly have to consciously place your feet. It’s quite easy to twist your ankle, that’s for sure! I also found it difficult to get into a nice pace, because of all these rocks everywhere. But, it’s doable if you just take your time. 😉
