Collingwood sunset boulevard

collingwood-sunset

There isn’t really much to do in Collingwood. The town is tiny, there are only a few streets and very few shops. Still, I hadn’t been here before and wanted to check it out. It’s from this little town that I took a tour to Farewell Spit. It’s in this area that a lot of pilot whales got stranded and many also died, which was very sad. What this little town also has, is beautiful sunsets. You’ve got to be quick, because before you know it, the sun is behind the mountains and you don’t see any colour anymore! I was on the late side when taking this photo, but I still really love this shot. It’s moments like these that I wished I’d live somewhere closer to nature, and away from high buildings and lots of traffic. I suppose there are pros and cons, but I can sure live with these kind of pros!
