The Fjällräven Classic, it’s been well over a year ago that I participated in this daunting trek. No, I didn’t finish the trekking, but I’ve finally made my peace with it. Had I known then what I know now, I would have done a lot of things differently. I suppose that is what life is all about: you live and you learn. What I gained from this experience is an even deeper reverence for nature. Swedish Lapland is impressive. A lot more open and barren than I thought it would be, but gazing upon Mount Kebnekaise and other snowy peaks in this photo, I can’t help but gaze in wonder. From the point where I took this photo we had a good few hours ahead of us before we stopped for the night. The distance was deceiving and it was a lot farther than we had calculated, but that’s what nature is about too…you have to keep your wits about you and pace yourself. Nature isn’t waiting for anybody.
You live, you learn

This trip is very high on my list of things I would like to do, it looks amazingly scenic. Thank you for sharing.

I’d say go for it! The organisation is impeccable and the people very friendly. And not to forget the incredible nature, quite raw but invigorating as well. I hope to someday finish this trek. Thank you for commenting!
