Although I’ve seen very little of Canada (so far), what I did see was beautiful! I definetly want to see heaps more! 🙂 Banff N.P. in Alberta is a beautiful area and I highly recommend a visit. When I went to Banff, the town, I did some light hiking along the Bow river. As I walked a little farther, I looked around the corner and fell in love with the view, so I had to take a picture. 🙂 What I love is that the colours are a bit muted and more ‘wintery’, giving the photo a totally different atmosphere from when you’d visit the area in the summer, for example.

Oh, a magnificent view! The light and the atmosphere does feel wintry – when we see that yellow-grey light in the sky we always say ‘It’s going to snow soon!’ 🙂

Thank you! Yes, it was still very wintery at the end of April/beginning of May. There was indeed snow along the river and on the mountain caps. Pretty cool, I have to say. It was a beautiful area! 🙂
