Going through my photo archive, I came across these that I took during a hike about six years ago. The trail goes through fields of heather that were beautifully in bloom. Everything was so lush and green. I remember the weather being absolutely gorgeous as well, so nice and sunny! And now that we’ve had our shortest day here in the Northern Hemisphere, I can’t wait for the colder seasons to make way to the warmer again.
