Tourist in my own country: a visit to the Keukenhof

Last April two of my international friends came to stay with me for a few days. It was wonderful having them stay and explore my own country like a tourist! They really wanted to go to the Keukenhof. It’s one of those very touristy places that I’ve only been to one time in my life before. So off we went to the Keukenhof, joined by our Dutch friend. It was quite late in the season, but the gardens were still very beautiful and the weather was absolutely gorgeous! Here are some photos of that day!

  1. I was quite impressed myself, had never been there before; the Dutchie not having played tourist beyond a certain point (soooooo many other things I have done before indeed). ☺️

    1. Hehe! Well, we had good fun regardless of the touristy aspect, hadn’t we? 😉 Showing our friends how beautiful our tiny country can be 🙂
