Thank you so much Gone Roaming for the Sunshine Blogger award! What a lovely surprise, especially on a bit of a weird, overcast day! And especially because of what this award stands for:

My answers to Gone Roaming’s questions

What is your favourite place in the world?
If I look at this question from a travel point of view, my favourite place in the world is New Zealand. Such a shocking surprise, eh? 😉 If I look at this question from a general life point of view, I’d say home.

What made you start blogging?
To incorporate a little New Zealand in my life, since the country is so far away and I can’t go there on a whim. And while it might not be the ‘real deal’, it actually feels great to reminisce and make new plans!

What keeps you going?
Inspiration, because I love it, and because I enjoy interacting with fellow bloggers (especially those that travel and hike!). I just love it and want to keep going and keep sharing good content.

If you could only keep one book / song / movie for the rest of your life, which one would it be?
Wow, that is a tough question! The first song that comes to mind is ‘That’s What Friends Are For‘ by Dionne Warwick and Friends. I’ve always loved this song and it reminds me of my mom and her best friend. But I love music, so this would be the impossible question to ask! As for movies…can I cheat and go for ‘franchise’? Then I’d say Star Trek, anything and everything! I could not live without a regular dose of Trek 😀

What is your greatest passion?
I would say nature and creativity. I need both like I need air.
