The many hues of Lake Pukaki

Lake Pukaki is a lake with ever changing colours. I’ve seen it in a really bright milky blue, an almost neon turquoise, and now in a deep medium blue with dark spots where clouds cast their shadows. This is one of those lakes that will look different every time you see it. I love it!

I love the colour of the water in these lakes. We stood for ages just looking in amazement.
