Exploring the Hooker Valley

This time in New Zealand, I made sure I had a few days in Mount Cook Village to explore this beautiful alpine area. I decided to do a hike (four hours return) through the Hooker Valley to the Hooker Glacier Lake with views on Mount Cook. The day started out foggy, but it quickly cleared up and turned into this gorgeous day. I had a wonderful time. I wish I had 360 degrees vision, because it was a feast for the eyes, one thing even more rugged and beautiful than the next. I was so inspired. This photo features Mount Sefton and Mount Footstool in the back with a glimpse of Mueller Glacier Lake in the front. I was so giddy and happy!
