Trekking through the lush green forests and getting higher and higher up the mountain. Every once in a while I had to stop and take a picture to capture how much I had hiked to get there. The Routeburn Track was amazing to do and seeing these pictures again fills me with that fuzzy warm feeling of pride and nostalgia. Who knows maybe, someday, we’ll meet again?

Ahh, that feeling of achievement – there is nothing like it! … and such a beautiful place! I am not surprised you are full of happy memories of it 🙂
