Now that my work for the week is done, I can once again keep myself occupied with this right here! My blog! 😀 I’m so grateful for the follows, the likes, the comments and the support. Not in my wildest dreams could I’ve imagined a reception as wonderful as this. My wee blog. ❤ I’m doing my best to keep interesting photos and stories coming! I’m also hoping you keep the likes and comments coming, because each and everyone brings a huge smile on my face! I love it all! 😀
It’s easy to get lost in the myriad of social media (I don’t even know what half the stuff is!), so I’ve decided to test the waters on a limited number of three. To reach a bit further I’ve created a Facebook page. Come have a look and like the page? I’ve also decided to link my Instagram to my blog here on WordPress. I’m slowly discovering that little gizmo, so I thought it would be fun to discover Instagram along with blogging. I plan to use my Instagram for interesting things I see around me when I travel, commute etc. Follow me there? You can also see the Facebook and Instagram widgets in the sidebar to the right. That way it’s easy to keep track! I’ve also decided to start a Tumblr. I was already familiar with Tumblr but haven’t done anything with it in almost a year. I’m not sure how this will all pan out, but it’s worth to give it a shot!
What are your experiences with Facebook, Instagram or Tumblr linked to your blog here on WordPress? What are your experiences with other social media? I’d love to know. 🙂
I love hearing about your travelling adventures and seeing your photos on your blog 🙂 I’m not much of a social media person myself though I’ve seen various platforms in use by those I know. I’m not a fan of FaceBook but from what I’ve seen Instagram seems like a useful platform for sharing images and videos for people ‘on the move’. I use G+ and Pinterest for collecting and sharing interesting stuff I find on the internet. I have my blog linked to G+ … though my sons are still teaching me how to ‘get it right’ !!! 😀

No worries, the focus in my blogging is still on my actual blog. 🙂 There are indeed so many platforms, and while I use a few, I don’t want to spread it out too thinly and stretch myself too far. I enjoy Facebook, so that was an obvious choice. Instagram is indeed fun for ‘on the go’ things, which I guess I can try out in future adventures. Since I already had an account, I decided to give that one a go. Who knows? 😉 I’ve heard of G+ and Pinterest but haven’t used either. I wouldn’t know where to begin! I heard G+ isn’t that easy to use, is that right?
