Sunburst
The sunset on the ferry ride from mainland Sweden to the Åland Islands was nothing short of amazing. Sometimes the sun went behind the clouds giving a more subdued effect. But when the sun came out again, it was like a sunburst. So bright and beautiful!

Late morning
Beautiful late morning outside Longyearbyen, Spitsbergen. The sun wouldn’t come up until a few weeks later (Feb. 16th), so seeing the landscape like this, was pretty cool!
Effects of the winter sun
I took this photo last Christmas, when I was out for a stroll with my mom. I love the bright light hitting the trees. And that bright blue sky contrasts with the wood of the trees so nicely.
