Well, helloooo!

I know I said I wasn’t going to apologise every time I disappear for a while. And it may not even seem like a disappearing act anyway, since I’ve been loyally running the Which Way Challenge (and will continue to do so). But here we are. Hi, how are you? Sorry for disappearing for a while.

Truth is, I’ve struggled over the last couple of months. These ‘Rona times’ may feel like a new normal, but it’s been tough. Of course I’m still doing my part in adhering to the rules, even though so many people have become much more ‘creative’ with them (ugh). I get it, everyone’s fed up. I am too. I’m fully vaccinated, which is a great feeling. But I’m also exhausted. And now that I have my holiday time off work, it’s all coming out. I’ve been sleeping a lot, haha!

Writing about travelling on my blog hasn’t been helpful for my mood, because it emphasises how much I miss it. I haven’t felt motivated to finish writing about my amazing travels to Iceland, for instance. I have so much I’m excited to share, but I can’t bring myself to sit down and do it. The spark will come back, I promise! I’m just running on an empty battery right now, which needs recharging.

I’ve been prioritising the Which Way Challenge. There have been many loyal WWC’ers and I couldn’t be more chuffed about it! It’s been such a boost to see everyone’s beautiful photos week after week! I’m enjoying the interaction I get because of this challenge. Whether you’re a regular or post occasionally, I’m loving it all! And yes, the WWC is also bit easier for me to maintain. This way I can still enjoy blogging, without putting too much stress on myself. Hope you don’t mind and will stick around?

How have you been?

        1. Probably the easiest is to make a post on your own blog and add a link to the Which Way Challenge post of that week. This will create a pingback and will let me know you’ve joined in.
You can also comment below the post of the Which Way Challenge that week with a link to your post.
          Hope this helps!

  1. I think we all feel the same, it’s just going on and on with no end in sight. We’re lucky that it hasn’t directly affected us but we’re reluctant to venture too far at the moment just in case. I hope your holiday time gives you a welcome rest and a chance to recharge.

    1. Understandable! I’m grateful my job etc is not affected. For a while I found I had no reason to ‘complain’ because many people have it worse. But dangnabbit, it’s hard sometimes! 😉
Thank you, really enjoying myself so far!

  2. I understand exactly how you feel. I can imagine you have all these words runn7 g through your mind about what you want to write but can’t bring yourself to sit down and do it. I get like that too, sometimes I just sort out my photos first and then bring them into the post, it usually works. Good luck 😊

    1. Thank you! Great tip as well. Right now, sorting through photos is even too much. I’ll get back into the swing of things eventually, haha!
