In the afternoon on day two, my friend and I went to the capital of Åland: Mariehamn. The weather was still as stunning as it had been all day. In fact, it was quite hot! We had a walk around town, the docks/harbour, we visited a few shops, including some that sell Sanna’s coffee, and we had pizza for dinner. I’ll be doing a whole separate post on food on Åland, because…well, frankly, it deserves its own post! The food here is good, it’s fresh, it’s mostly local. Good stuff!
