One thing I absolutely love about travelling is seeing things I’ve never seen before. It ignites curiosity and a sense of exploration in me. In New Zealand there are so many animals, plants and trees that I am unfamiliar with and I love it! This tree is a cabbage tree or cabbage palm (cordyline australis), endemic to New Zealand. These trees are abundant throughout the country. In this photo, I just love the contrast between the green from the leaves and the bright blue sky.
