After visiting Cape Reinga, we made our way to the ‘sandy bits’. First there was the opportunity to go sandboarding off these dunes and after that we went to 90-mile beach (which isn’t actually 90 miles long). It would have been fun to give this a shot, but my pneumonia (which I didn’t know I had at the time) prevented me from diving down head-first and eating sand. Maybe next time! 😉
Another one bites the dust
