Admittedly, Queenstown is a party town. I don’t like partying, so that part of town doesn’t appeal to me. There is, on the other hand, a lot to do in and around Queenstown. If you’re looking for an adrenaline rush, Queenstown is the place to be. I myself have done my bungy jump here in 2005. I hope to come back to do a canyon swing. Looks like fun! Something else you can do, and which doesn’t cost a lot of money, is take the Gondola up to get a stunning view over Queenstown, the Remarkables and Lake Wakatipu. The Remarkables is the mountain range in the back and it was used in The Lord Of The Rings as part of Mordor. In reality, it doesn’t look nearly as scary, just really spectacular if you ask me! 🙂
